Amy Ciortea - Romania

The streets of Romania area rough place to call home, food is hard to come by and perhaps the most striking need is love.  A warm embrace comes few and far between.

And yet God's precious treasures live here.  A treasure the world considers worthless but a treasure the Lord has chosen for His work.  God has a plan and destiny for each child who calls the street home.  (Jeremiah 29:11)

The Bible speaks of a man willing to sell all he had to buy a field because of a treasure hidden there....             (Matthew 13:44-45)

I am blessed to be one who God has asked to leave my family, home and country and to give all I have for these precious treasures.

Through God's faithfulness I now work alongside of 2 different churches and one organization in this work with street kids.  This is not common in Romania as suspicion runs deep.

Carlos & Regan Penning - Guatemala

God has called us to evangelize, disciple, and equip young people with the Word of God and to inspire them to take ownership of God's purpose for their lives, to say "Yes!" to their destiny.

God has given us His heart for the youth culture of Latin America and has called us to Guatemala to pioneer a youth discipleship and training program called SST, Season of Service and Training.

The people of Guatemala are also recovering and healing from the pain of hate and war. We believe God is calling us to speak life into a culture that has been tortured because of the historical conflicts of the past.

Our heart was stirred to come and do the work (Exodus 36:1-2). In doing so, we have tried to serve others and learn how to minister effectively to many different types of people. We believe we will see doors open to more people groups in the future. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
